Do you remember the movie Lion King?

When little lion Simba left home, because he though he was responsible for the death of his dad Muffassa and went on his own journey and ended up meeting the most easy going characters Pumba and Timon,, having Hakuna Matata (no worries) days.

Then he came across his childhood friend Nala, who was telling him to come home, because the kingdom is in a horrible state.

He wasn’t sure what to do as he didn’t want to leave his paradise. But one starry night he seen the spirit of his dad in the sky.. saying:

“Go home Simba, you must take place in the circle of life. Remember who you are.”
I find, personally and collectively, with everything that’s been going on, now we shall “remember who we are and come home.”

Home to our soul, to being the kind companionate, caring, responsible people who we are.

To truly care for our own well being, each other and the planet we live on.

Because what else actually really matters?

This doesn’t mean not to have Hakuna Matata days, but rather make them ‘the come from’ than ‘the go to.’

Create from the place of joy, rather than escape to it.

As with everything around us - we reflect our own reality and we see what we allow ourselves to see. What ‘home’ meant for me last year or decades ago, is quite different to what it does right now.

Regardless where on your journey you’re… to remember who you’re can never harm <3
